Ted Brunetti is a producer, director, acting teacher, directing coach and actor. Ted is Creator and Executive Producer of: a half hour comedy for FOX Broadcast Co., and Warner Brothers (Warner Horizon), an hour long "dramedy" for network television, two Reality Shows, and one game show that are currently in development. Ted works with the leading professionals in Film, Television, and Theatre Industries, bringing his vast knowledge and experience from all aspects of the industry to the work at the Studio. He has his own production company and On Camera Acting Studio that has just moved to an exciting new location (still in Los Angeles) summer 2014.
One of the last protégé’s of Uta Hagen (over 18 years), and Invited Member of The Actors’ Studio, Ted fuses a combination of techniques and skills, firmly believing, “There is no single or 'right' way to do this. You must find what works for you.” Ted is the creator of the highly acclaimed Prepare to WORK, Not Audition Master Class/Workshop for actors held throughout the US and Australia, and Directing Actors: Master Class/Workshop for directors, producers and writers.
Ted is faculty and guest faculty at the most prestigious film schools and institutions in the country including, USC School of Cinematic Arts teaching graduate and undergraduate directors and producers (including the Stark Program); The American Film Institute; H.B. Studio (NYC); The American Academy of Dramatic Arts; SAG-AFTRA Conservatory (L.A., Las Vegas, San Diego); ABC Primetime Casting NY; The Actors' Studio; The YouTube/Google Creator Institute Pilot Program; U of NC School of the Arts; Elon; Occidental; Bennington; Atlanta’s The Lovett School, etc..
As an actor Ted has worked with Al Pacino, Whoopi Goldberg, Uta Hagen, Stephen Sondheim, Flaherty/Ahrens, Diane Paulus, Jerry Zaks, Robbie Marshall, Donald Petrie, Graciella Daniele, James Foley, Paul Gemignani to name a few and has coached the likes of Jack Lemon and George C. Scott in the remake of INHERIT THE WIND, for which Jack Lemon won an Emmy Award; Mark Feuerstein for the leading role in television's hit series ROYAL PAINS; and James Gandolfini (SOPRANOS) for his last four feature films, his last – ANIMAL RESCUE; Valarie Pettiford- award winning triple threat (Tony Nominee FOSSIE, TRUE BLOOD, GOLDEN BOY, TREME, JUMPING THE BROOM, LOVE WILL KEEP UP TOGETHER, and many others), Nichole Tom (MATERS OF SEX, CASTLE, WITHOUT A TRACE, COLD CASE, etc.) Bren Foster, Mike Epps, and many others.
Ted works with the major networks, studios, casting directors, agents and managers, taping auditions, and preparing clients for auditions and performances on-set and on-location, with many of his clients (award winning actors, musicians, and athletes) currently in leading roles in television, film, multi-media, and theatre projects. Ted Brunetti is a recipient of an NEA Achievement in the Arts Award and voted Runner Up Favorite Acting Coach & Favorite Teacher Backstage Magazine.
